12月29日,湖南省农业科学院电子加速器育种平台建设项目交接仪式在浏阳市举行。中国工程院院士、湖南省农业科学院党委书记柏连阳,中国工程院院士、湖南省农业科学院学术委员会主任单杨,湖南省农业科学院党委副书记、院长余应弘,党委委员、副院长张德咏、齐绍武、许靖波、李高阳,党委委员、纪委书记罗亚明,国家杂交水稻研究中心主任唐文帮、国家杂交水稻工程技术研究中心主任邓华凤,中广核技党委副书记、总经理盛国福等出席交接仪式。On December 29th, the handover ceremony of the electron accelerator breeding platform construction project of Hunan Academy of Agricultural Sciences was held in Liuyang City. Bai Lianyang, academician of the CAE Member, secretary of the Party Committee of Hunan Academy of Agricultural Sciences; Shan Yang, academician of the CAE Member, director of the Academic Committee of Hunan Academy of Agricultural Sciences; Yu Yinghong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and President of Hunan Academy of Agricultural Sciences; Zhang Deyong, Qi Shaowu, Xu Jingbo, and Li Gaoyang, Member of the Party Committee and Vice President; Luo Yaming, Discipline Inspection Commission Secretary; Tang Wenbang, Director of the National Hybrid Rice Research Center, and Deng Huafeng, Director of the National Hybrid Rice Engineering Technology Research Center, and Sheng Guofu, deputy secretary of the CGNT Party Committee and general manager of the CGNT, attended the handover ceremony.
交接仪式现场,盛国福介绍了平台交付情况。他表示,中广核技近年来围绕国家农业科技创新战略总要求,聚焦电子束技术在育种、保鲜、灭菌等现代农业科技领域的推广应用,积极在全国推进“科技+农业”项目,在广西百色建成投运了我国首个农产品原产地电子束保鲜示范中心。电子加速器育种平台项目的顺利交接,标志着电子束辐照技术在育种领域的应用进入融合发展新阶段,将有效推动传统产业转型升级和战略性新兴产业发展,同时也为生态环境建设、高抗高品质育种等提供了核技术应用高端技术装备支撑。
At the handover ceremony, Sheng Guofu introduced the platform delivery situation. He stated that in recent years, CGN Technology has focused on the promotion and application of electron beam technology in modern agricultural science and technology fields such as breeding, preservation, and sterilization, in accordance with the overall requirements of the national agricultural science and technology innovation strategy. It has actively promoted the "science and technology + agriculture" project nationwide, built and put into operation of the China's first electron beam origin preservation demonstration center for agricultural products in Baise, Guangxi province. The smooth handover of the electron accelerator breeding platform project marks that the electron beam irradiation technology applied in the field of breeding enters into a new stage of integrated development. It will effectively promote the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries and the development of strategic emerging industries, while also providing high-end technical equipment support for nuclear technology applications such as ecological environment construction and high resistance and high-quality breeding.
柏连阳代表湖南农业科学院对中广核的建设和指导表示感谢。他表示本电子加速器装置的成功运行是农科院生物育种领域又一标志性时刻。本项目是中国工程院院士、“共和国勋章”获得者袁隆平老师生前指导的“加速建设生物育种世界高地”科学创新思想的实践,致力于将湖南农业科学院打造成辐射诱变育种的创新高地。希望双方能以此为契机,继续深化在作物新品种培育、食品保鲜等农业领域的合作,为我国粮食安全、食品安全贡献核技术力量。
Bai Lianyang, on behalf of Hunan Academy of Agricultural Sciences, is grateful to CGN for their construction and guidance. He stated that the successful operation of this electron accelerator device is another landmark moment in the field of biological breeding at the Academy of Agricultural Sciences. This project is the practice of the scientific innovation thought of "accelerating the construction of the world highland of biological breeding" directed by Professor Yuan Longping, academician of the CAE Member and winner of the "Republic Medal", and is committed to building Hunan Academy of Agricultural Sciences into an innovation highland of radiation induced breeding. We hope that both sides can take this project as an opportunity to continue deepening cooperation in agricultural fields such as new crop variety cultivation and food preservation, contributing nuclear technology to China's food security and food safety.
据了解,该项目从2022年开始论证、筹备,2024年1月正式开工。平台建成后,将填补省农科院在加速器应用领域的空白,使湖南省农业科学院在全国农业科学研究院系统中率先同时拥有γ射线、电子束和X射线3种电离辐射源,将进一步提高省农科院整体科技创新能力和成果转化能力,在种质资源创制、突破性品种选育等方面发挥独特作用。
It is understood that this project demonstration and preparation started form 2022 and officially put into commence construction in January 2024. After the platform built, it will fill the gap in accelerator application field of the Provincial Academy of Agricultural Sciences, making Hunan Academy of Agricultural Sciences the first in the national agricultural science research institute system to simultaneously possess three types of ionizing radiation sources: γ rays, electron beams, and X-rays. It will further enhance the overall scientific and technological innovation ability and achievement transformation ability of Hunan Provincial Academy of Agricultural Sciences, and play a unique role in germplasm resource creation, breakthrough variety breeding, and other aspects.
